Almost time for our Honeymoon!

We leave in 7 days and 17 hours (who's counting?!). I CANNOT wait. I am even kind of excited about the plane ride. I am sure after hour 14 on the plane I will NOT be too excited, BUT...we will be in Venice...and I can't wait. I am still in shock that we are taking a Mediterranean Cruise. We are so blessed to be given the opportunity to go on such a fabulous honeymoon.

I am on my last day of the Provera with no sign of AF. With my luck she will be here for the first part of our honeymoon and for the nice long flight. That would suck, but oh well. I can deal.

My wonderful husband decided that we should go back to Austin for Thanksgiving weekend. We did the same trip last year (which you can read about here). We had such a great time that we decided to do it again and make it a "tradition." He booked the hotel yesterday. We will be making the almost 6 hour drive there, but during that time of year it is simply amazingly beautiful! We don't need to make the ticket on our way back a tradition though. ha!

We are going to be busy busy people! We leave for our honeymoon on August 19th and get back on September 2nd. Then that weekend we get back, Alex is off to Vegas for work (I know, life is rough for him). THEN, the week after that his lovely mom and aunt will be driving in from Kentucky and will be staying with us for about a week and a half. October I think we actually have a free month (for the time being) and then November is my birthday, Thanksgiving, and our Austin trip. December we have Vegas for his mom's wedding and then Christmas! WOW! We are busy, but I LOVE IT!

I need to start taking pictures of stuff because a post without pictures is NO fun! I will be sure to change that when we get back from our Honeymoon!

Sonogram and Provera

Well, I had a sonogram this morning. It went well. My ovaries are apparently enlarged, but the doctor is not worried about it. Thank goodness. Not pregnant, which I already knew, but it was nice to finally get a final word about it. They are putting me on Provera to start my period as I am now on day 44. It's insane! I am hoping I won't be on my period for our honeymoon *praying to the period gods*

At least I have some news! Also no cysts on the ovaries, so that is a good thing too. Phew!! It will take us a little longer to get pregnant as we will have to wait till my cycles get back to normal, but that's okay. I am no longer going to stress about it! It WILL happen!

Ha - who the hell am I kidding?

Are you kidding me?!

My doctor's office is closed today. WTF? I have to wait till tomorrow? Bull.

Blood Test

I talked to the doctors office yesterday and I am scheduled to have a sonogram tomorrow morning, but before they did that, they wanted to do a blood test. I was kinda excited about this. I know, I am weird. I know almost for a fact that it will be negative. As soon as I left there yesterday I went to Walgreens and got another pregnancy test. Why you ask? BECAUSE I HAVE ISSUES!! I couldn't stand having to wait till today to get the results. So I took it, in the Walgreens bathroom, shuushh I don't want to hear it, and it was of course negative. I had peace of mind at that moment and went back to work and didn't think about it anymore. If I didn't do that I would have been wondering and worrying and stalking my doctors office. So now when I get the results today I will already be prepared to hear that it is negative and we can go about trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with me.

So I get to have my very first sonogram without a baby in there. That is bull. Last night my stomach was SOOOOOOOO huge that I looked like was 4 months pregnant. I had to show Alex because it was so impressive. It was hard as a rock too. Weird. The cramps aren't as bad today, but I can still feel them . It's a like a very dull pain that I feel all the time. Weird. I hope it isn't anything bad. I am on day 43 today. This is like a cruel joke. I have ALWAYS worried that I wouldn't be able to get pregnant (I think every woman does) and then this happens. I will try to remain positive. Except all I can think about is that 49 day cycles are NOT normal. Not having a period in the month of July is NOT normal. Hmmm.

AF postponed her visit...

So, here I am, day 42 of my cycle. Ugh. Last cycle was 49 days. This is nuts. I called the doctor yesterday and they want to schedule me for a sonogram. They think I might have ovarian cysts. Of course this is just speculation, so I am not going to freak out or anything. She said it is pretty normal. Is it really? She said because I was on birth control for so long and since I wasn't ovulating, that now they could have formed. Who knows what is going on. I would just like to figure it out. I hope it isn't something bad! We shall see! Hopefully I can get in there this week! My symptoms have been so weird! I have had cramps since last week. I keep thinking AF is going to come and then nothing. I haven't taken another test because I know I am not preggo. The doc mentioned that she will take a test just to double check, so I will feel better about that.

I am swamped at work...guess I better get to it. I will post about my weekend later. =)
