Emotional

I know this is my third post for the day, but I'm stuck at work with nothing to do. I am sure I could figure something out, but I'd much rather play. With that said...

I'm an emotional wreck today! What is wrong with me? The last few days I just want to cry. Yesterday I did, twice. First in the morning on the way to work I was listening to this radio station that was giving this family a beautiful Christmas. This married couple lost their jobs, had newborn twins and a few other kids and were struggling. I was a mess.

THEN...again last night my mom called and told me that I might not get to see her while we are in town because she is so sick. I am about to start crying again. If most of you don't already know, my mom is recovering from breast cancer. She has had a REALLY rough year. It was hard on me too. I flew out a couple times to be with her, especially during her mastectomy. She has various problems throughout the year, but now she has been sick for the last three weeks. She hasn't even been to the doctor yet and I'm convinced she has pneumonia. This breaks my heart!! She is so stubborn and doesn't go to the doctor when she should. Ugh.

K. That's it for now.

P.S. I'm never eating McDonald's ever again. I feel horrible. Ugh.

A few more wedding photos

Doppler from Stork Radio

We got our doppler in the mail yesterday! It's AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We tried to find the heartbeat before we rushed off to dinner but since we were rushed we didn't find it. After dinner we tried again and the husband found it right away! We listened to it for a good 5 minutes. The little booger was moving all over the place. It was the most amazing sound in the whole entire world. We had the biggest smiles on our faces! haha! I am very very very happy I opted to rent the doppler. I am not as worried as I have been, but to be able to hear our little baby everyday really makes us feel closer to the little one in my belly. I will keep it until I start feeling movements. It says you can record and email the heartbeat. We are going to figure that out next.

I can't believe we leave tomorrow. I seriously have SO much to do. AHHHHHHHHHH! We are doing our Christmas tonight which I haven't even finished shopping for!!!!!!!!!! Nothing is wrapped. I actually told him last night that we aren't wrapping presents this year. I feel horrible and sad about it, but I just don't have time! Here is the beginning of my list of things to do:

1) Finish shopping for husband. I need to pick up his weight set.
2) Get gift certificate for Target for our friend that is watching our house and taking care of our kitties. She's amazing.
3) While I am at Target get last minute things for the trip.
4) Get butter from grocery store.
5) Finish baking cookies.
6) Deliver cookies to neighbors!
7) Laundry
8) PACK!
9) Clean - at least just a little because our house looks like a train wreck.
10) Drop-off and pick-up prescription from Walgreens.
11) Get keys to friend!
12) Get toes and nails done
13) Was supposed to get hair cut tonight - cancel appointment.

OMG. That's all today/tonight. I need to not freak out. I'm freaking.

ANDDDDD...I had the most horrible dream EVER last night. There was SOOOOO much to it, but first I was making out with my ex. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! It was horrible. So gross. Then I started bleeding. I was bleeding so much and then when we tried to find the heartbeat, we couldn't. There was much much much more to the dream, but that was the jist of it. It was horrible.

P.S. Why must I wake up every dang morning around 3am?

Follow-up Appointment

I had my follow-up appointment today with my OB. I apparently STILL have blood in my urine which seems like that is normal for me. He said if I weren't pregnant then he would send me to a urologist to have tests done. I guess that is something I will have to look forward to when I have this little one. He put me on different antibiotics too. He wants me to stop taking the Keflix and start on this new one. Fun. Then...

We listened to the heartbeat!! I love love love that sound. The little bean's heart rate is 155. I just got my rented doppler from Stork Radio in the mail today too, so the husband will get to hear it. I am so happy that everything is going okay so far. We will be 12 weeks on Thursday! I still worry a bit, but not as much as I was. Our little baby is STRONG!

We leave on Wednesday for California for 9 days. I am VERY much looking forward to the trip, but it will be VERY busy. I know I am going to be exhausted when we get back. It will be worth it though. I can't wait to see our family and friends. Its been way too long. Last time I was there was in April for my bachelorette party!!

I still haven't uploaded pictures. I. am. lazy.

10-11 Week Survey

How far along? 11 weeks 2 days, right?
Total weight gain/loss: Ugh. About 3 pounds UP still. After being really sick I lost a couple, but I am sure I put them back on now.
Maternity clothes? I loathe maternity jeans. I tried them on again today and hate them with a passion. I am wearing jeans right now that I am not sure will work much longer. I can barely breathe. I am hoping they stretch out a little bit soon!
Sleep: I'm still very very tired at night. I go to bed really early. I don't think I stayed up past 8 last night! I usually wake up a few times in the middle of the night, but not always for the restroom. Sometimes I just lay in bed with my mind going. I am sure it's because I am going to bed so early.
Best moment this week: Seeing our little wiggle worm move all over the place. Knowing that he/she is okay makes me feel so much better. I love him/her so much already!!
Movement: He/she is moving ALL over the place, but I can't feel it yet. I can't wait!
Food cravings: Nothing really. I had a craving for chili last night, but the husband pointed out that it was probably a bad idea since I have had stomach problems. I think I will make it tonight though. It sounds so good!
Gender: Only about 7 weeks until we can find out. We are going to the college here to have them look at 18 weeks. If they can't tell we have an ultrasound at 20 weeks!
Labor Signs: NO! They thought I was having contractions Monday because I was so dehydrated, but baby is fine!
Belly Button in or out? In. Let's hope it stays that way the entire time.
What I miss: Having clothes that fit.
Weekly Wisdom: Listen to your body.

Our doctor pushed our due date to July 8th and since he did that we decided to change what we are going by as well. We weren't going to, but it's what everyone is going by and it just makes it easier. The little one is measuring right where it should be too, so July 8th it is! Next Thursday I will be 12 weeks!!!! I am SOOOOOO excited!

My trip to the ER

Well, let me start by saying Vegas was fun and the wedding was a blast. The dress fit, thank goodness! My boobs were popping out of the dress, but I was told it looked good. ha! Friday night we went to a small reception his mom was having in her suite and then I headed back to our room and the boys went out. The husband didn't get back to the room till around 3am! Needless to say, they had a blast. He was feeling it the next morning too! Poor thing! I didn't feel too bad for him though - he did it to himself. Anyways...

Fast forward to Sunday. We decided to do a little shopping before our flight and ended up having lunch at this burger place in Planet Hollywood. It was really good. We both had a guacamole burger and shared fries. About half way into my burger I started to get a little tummy ache, but I went ahead and finished it because I knew we wouldn't eat again for a little while. Well right after I finished I felt awful. I had the worst stomach pains and just wanted to lay down. I was starting to get really nauseous too, but just dealt with it as we walked back to our hotel.

After what felt like a 5 hour trek to our hotel (it was really only about 15 minutes), I went straight to the bathroom because I thought I was going to be sick. I didn't, but really just wanted to lay down and not move. We grabbed our bags and got a taxi to the airport. I felt okay at this point. Pretty icky, but nothing I couldn't handle. We finally sat down and didn't move until it was time to board our flight, which was about an hour and a half. I had to unbutton my pants because the pressure from them were making my stomach hurt worse. It was quiet interesting to try to walk with my pants undone because they kept almost falling down.

We made it to Albuquerque where our plane was delayed an hour! We were stuck there for three hours!! We found a seat in a little bar where Alex could watch the game and have a beer. I had ginger ale that seemed to not help at all. I was not feeling well at this point and it seemed to be getting worse. I started crying from the pain, poor husband didn't know what to do. After sitting there for about an hour I decided to contact my doctor. I was pretty convinced I had indigestion and I wanted to see if I could take anything. She told me to take some Zantax (at least I think that's what it is called), which I did and about 30 minutes later I started throwing up. Throwing up in an airport is just about the worst thing ever! I warned everyone when I went in there that I did not have the swine flu and that I was pregnant. I could just imagine every one's faces when I started to be sick. I am sure I cleared that bathroom out many times. We finally got on the plane and I seemed to have got worse. The stabbing shooting pains were horrible. I couldn't take it and felt like I was going to die. At this point I was shaking and couldn't stop. Poor guy sitting next to me must have been so freaked out.

As soon as we landed in Midland I made a bee line for the restroom and got sick again. Ew. I don't know how I made it to the car. I was so weak and felt so horrible. As soon as I got home I got into bed and didn't move. I woke up in the morning to feeling very horrible. I threw up a little, but there wasn't much left so it decided to come out the other end! I slept till about noon and called my doctor who told me to get to the hospital.

I called the husband, told him not to worry and to stay at work, and headed to the hospital. They immediately got me in and started testing. They hooked me up to an IV and then tried to find the babies heart beat, but they couldn't find it. At one point two nurses were looking for it and couldn't find it. I was really starting to freak out at this point but was trying not to show it. I am sure everything was okay, right? The husband came up after this because he couldn't focus on work and was worried about us.

The doctor came in and told me that I had a bad bacterial infection and started me on antibiotics. They gave me a shot for the pain, stuck swabs up my butt, gave me more meds through the IV and then left me alone for what felt like forever. We decided we wanted an ultrasound to make sure the baby was okay, which they said we could have. BUT, I had to get a catheter! WHAT?!?!?! So after going back and forth for a good 30 minutes and calling my doctor to see if we should do it, we opted to go for it. They shoved that damn catheter in - OH MY GOSH and then told me well, now you have to wait because we need to wait for the on-call technician. HAHAHA. So, I sat there with that damn thing in for about an hour and a half until the lovely technician got there. They started the ultrasound and look what we saw:

Our little baby looks like a baby!! Not only that, but the little wiggle worm was ALL over the place! He/she didn't stay still long enough for us to get a really good picture. He/she waved for us, posed and kicked like a little soccer player. It was truly amazing. We were SO relieved that everything was okay.

After the ultrasound they removed the catheter and I was soon released and sent home to rest and take it easy. I wasn't feeling great, but I felt a lot better than I did when I first went in there. I was happy to be home!! I ate a sandwich and then fell asleep.

I am FINALLY back to work today and feeling so much better and our little one is okay! Phew.

First OB Appointment - Success!

Okay, I was worried about this appointment. I was just so worried that we wouldn't hear a heartbeat, BUT...we did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is how it went...

The husband and I met up at the doctor's office and were greeted by the entire staff. They were so happy to meet Mr. P. hahaha. P stands for "Problem." They gave me that nickname awhile back. Actually, I think I gave it to myself and they ran with it. Now I am Mrs. P and the husband is Mr. P. So, I get called in, pee in a cup, get weighed (AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH), they take my blood pressure and we went in to chat with the doctor. He was very nice and answered all our questions after asking us a ton. He asked questions about how I have been feeling and our family history. When it was time to ask our questions I froze! I should have wrote them down, but I didn't. The husband asked a few great questions (he obviously did his homework, I was so proud). I think was just too anxious to get in there to hear the heartbeat! Before that came I had to endure a wonderful pap smear! It's so weird how much more sensitive everything down there is now - it wasn't pleasant, but it was quick. The poor husband was trying to not look. haha!

After that was all said and done it was time to try to find the heartbeat! He did mention that it may be too early to find it, but he would try and to not freak out if we didn't find it. Ya, right...after what felt like 5 minutes, he found it!!! Our little precious baby's heart was beating away. I don't know how fast it was though because his cheap-o doppler didn't have a lcd screen. Huh? Oh well. I will deal. As soon as he found it I wanted to cry and laugh, but I didn't want to move so we could hear it a little longer. It was AMAZING. I am now going to rent a doppler for a few months. haha. I don't want to wait another 4 weeks to hear that!!

He said my due date is the 8th of July instead of the 12th, but he's going off his little chart and I know I ovulated late. Even our ultrasound measured right on with what I was expecting, so I'm not going to change our due date just yet. If our little one is measuring bigger at our 20 week ultrasound, then I will change it, but I am pretty positive it's still the 12th. Either way, I'm so happy everything went so well. He said we are off to a fantastic start and everything looks great! YA!

The wonderful office staff loaded me up with a HUGE bag of goodies!!! Tons of reading material and fun stuff like a planner, formula, picture frame, DVD, tons and tons and tons of magazines, small samples of lotion, hand sanitizer, tissue...the list goes on!

This all feels so much more real. This is happening! We are both so happy.

We are off to Vegas this afternoon for his mom's wedding!! I am the Matron of Honor and am PRAYING the dress still looks good and fits!!! Eek. I am sure it does. I am a little worried about being in Vegas with all the smoke and people, but I will do my best to stay away from it all. I was contemplating wearing a mask...haha. I know, I know...I don't want to be some freak, so I will just steer clear of all the nasty smoke. It might suck a little because I won't be able to hang out with everyone much. There is a wine and cheese reception tonight that I will go to and then plan on going back to the room while everyone goes out to hit the town. Kind of a bummer, but I will get to relax and I won't be hungover the next day! HAHAHAHAHA! It will be a totally different Vegas experience for me!

We will be staying at the new Vdara at the City Center! It's BEAUTIFUL! We got a deluxe suite for only $99 a night. It's only be open for about a week - sweet!!

First OB Appointment Today! and the dreaded belly picture.

I had a HORRIBLE morning. I was about to get on the floor, kick my feet and start crying. I couldn't find ANYTHING to wear. Nothing. I tried on about 7 different shirts. My boobs are too big, so my button up shirts don't fit. My work slacks don't fit really, so I had to try the bella band. It was a pain in the ass, so I changed pants for the third time to my one and only pair that fits and they are getting tight too. Then to try to find a shirt that works. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to go shopping. I'm only 9 and a half weeks and nothing fits. This can't be good.

My day should get better because today at 2:15 we have our very first OB appointment. I am not too thrilled about the pap smear, but I will deal. I just want confirmation that everything is okay!We both can't wait to hear the little heartbeat again.

This is what we woke up to last Friday morning. Our grass was full of snow, but someone, ahem, forgot to turn off the sprinklers, so it melted most of the snow. It was so pretty! My boss called me to tell me not to come in until noon - whoohooo! It snowed almost all morning!

I only have one picture from my phone at Salt Lick. The most amazing BBQ place in the whole entire world. It's right outside of Austin. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! As you can see, I was happy to be there.

Here is my belly at almost 5 weeks. I thought I was bloated then...

AND HERE IS THE MONSTER NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! It's huge. THIS is why nothing fits. =( I would be happy if it was baby, but this is NOT baby! I am not even 10 weeks yet! This can't be normal. I need to put down the pizza and candy. No more.

9 Weeks!!

How far along? 9 weeks!
Total weight gain/loss: Ugh. About 3 pounds UP. I was horrible this weekend. I am officially only eating healthy from now on!!
Maternity clothes? I put up the stupid maternity jeans. I am not wearing them until I have to. Clothes are tight, but I'm dealing.
Sleep: I'm exhausted ALL THE TIME. All I want to do is sleep. I went to bed around 6 last night because I had a horrible headache. Thankfully it's gone today.
Best moment this week: We are going to Vegas this weekend for his moms wedding. I am the Matron of Honor. Let's hope the dress still fits! haha! AND on Thursday we have our first OB appointment. I am looking forward to hearing our little ones heartbeat.
Movement: Just gas.
Food cravings: Just horrible food. Pizza, candy, you name it.
Gender: We will find out in February.
Labor Signs: No.
Belly Button in or out? Everything is the same.
What I miss: Not being tired. Caffeine.
Weekly Wisdom: Ummm...I don't really have any!
Milestones: Getting to 9 weeks!! So close to the end of this first trimester. Praying we get there and all is okay this Thursday at the appointment.

Alex's brother has been here since last weekend. He leaves today and I'm really happy to have our home back. I love him to death, just miss our privacy! Alex leaves today too though for Nashville. He will be back Wednesday. I would typically enjoy a little time alone, but I am so needy lately that I don't want him to leave!! I will deal, but I'm sad.

The boys put up our Christmas lights on Saturday. It looks amazing! I've been a horrible blogger lately with no pictures, so I will get on that this week!

8 Weeks, Austin and Thanksgiving!

How far along? 8 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I'm afraid to look. I overindulged a little this past weekend.
Maternity clothes? I broke down and purchased a pair of jeans last week. I wore them on our drive out to Austin, but I'm not a huge fan yet. They fall down, so I had to wear the bella band with them and it was just a pain in the ass. I will deal with my one pair of jeans until I can fit into maternity clothes.
Sleep: Sleep last night was amazing. I only woke up once to use the restroom. I had a little bit of a difficult time going back to sleep because I was feeling sick, but after I did - I didn't wake up until my alarm went off! It was so hard getting up this morning. I had to PRY myself out of bed and into the shower. I could have slept another 3-4 hours.
Best moment this week: This past week was amazing. Thanksgiving, decorating for Christmas and then Austin. It was also really cute hearing my husband say "WE will be in our second trimester on December 28th." Haha - He's so adorable.
Movement: Just gas.
Food cravings: Nothing really, just food in general. I HAVE to eat or I get really sick.
Gender: I can't wait till February when we get to find out!
Labor Signs: No.
Belly Button in or out? Everything is the same.
What I miss: Feeling good. I'm sick off and on all day. It comes and goes.
Weekly Wisdom: When travelling, make sure to stop every hour and a half to two hours to walk around. We need to make sure we are getting enough blood to our little one and we are also at risk for blood clots!
Milestones: Getting to 8 weeks!! It feels like every week is such a major milestone. 2 months pregnant! YAY! Only 4 more weeks till we are out of this first trimester.

I'm going to save Austin and Thanksgiving for another post so I can post pictures along with it. I need to download the pics. We got home late last night and then his brother gets in tonight for a week, so I hope to get to that soon!!

7 Weeks!!

How far along? 7 weeks and 1 day.
Total weight gain/loss: Nothing, but still a tad bloated. Not as bad as I have been, but there's a big belly.
Maternity clothes? Not yet, but I'm thinking soon. I only have one pair of jeans that fit nice.
Sleep: Okay. I get up to go to the restroom only once a night (usually early morning).
Best moment this week: Using the restroom. HAHAHAHA. I know, I know. But it was such a huge relief to finally go! Number two that is.
Movement: Just gas.
Food cravings: Bean and Cheese burritos from Taco Villa. Although starting yesterday. Nothing has sounded good at all.
Gender: Too early!
Labor Signs: No.
Belly Button in or out? Everything is the same.
What I miss: Last Friday was pretty insane. I had a rough day and really wanted a beer or wine.
Weekly Wisdom: Prunes, dried apricots, and lots of fiber work.
Milestones: Getting to 7 weeks!!

I'm realllllly icky sick right now. Well, let me take that back. I feel really icky. I am not throwing up, thank goodness, but I feel like I need to. It has been off and on since week six, but starting Sunday night it has been bad. I feel like I could be sick at any moment. My tummy is icky and I am SOOOO nauseous! I came in late to work yesterday (missed the entire morning) because I had no energy and felt like I was dying. I couldn't eat either which is such a change from these last few weeks. I used to have problems with NOT eating. I would get sick, but as soon as I ate, I was better. So, needless to say, I was eating ALL THE TIME! Now, the thought of food makes me want to hurl. This is horrible! I love food!! I forced down a bowl of cereal this morning and took my B6 and DHA and felt better, but now as I sit here and type, it's creeping back up.

We have Thanksgiving here at the office today and the thought of all the food is making me cringe. I brought a pumpkin and apple pie, which look amazing, but I don't think I can have any! Oh, what a sad sad day.

The husband and I are going to Austin this weekend!! But first, we are having our own little Thanksgiving feast! It's so cute because last year on Thanksgiving he told me there was something missing a the table, or rather, someone. He mentioned that we needed to add to our family and a year later, we are pregnant! We plan on decorating for Christmas on Wednesday night. I LOVE LOVE LOVE decorating for Christmas!!!! This is my favorite time of the year. I will take pictures after we get it all up with my NEW CANON REBEL camera! lol.

I'm kinda sad about going private, but me posting about our intimate details makes him uncomfortable, so I have to respect that. I have 7 followers though!! Thanks for reading guys!!

I'm going to crawl under my desk and die now. Ugh.

Going Private!

Well folks...my hubby wants me to go private. He doesn't like the idea of me sharing our story with the entire world, which I can totally see (belly pictures, etc.). So, I will be going private tomorrow! I don't think there is anyone that wants to keep up with me, but if you do. Let me know. If you do, send me your email address to mmichelee13@yahoo.com.

Extremely Irritated and Annoyed!

I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. I am not in the best mood. I feel like I could rip someones head off. Ugh. I would like to either scream or cry, or both. Someone at work keeps doing my job which is pissing me off. This person thinks he/she is my boss and it's not cool. I'm about to say something, AGAIN. This person got a call from someone that should have talked to me - um, TRANSFER BUTTON!!!!!!!!!! Now this person has all the information I needed and is emailing it to me. You are f'ing kidding me. Whatever.
My lower back is killing me today. I googled too much these last few days and am now more freaked out about the possibility of a miscarriage. The likely hood of me having one with PCOS is pretty high. I'm so scared. I hate that I have this problem. I keep praying and rubbing my belly and hoping that this little baby is okay and remains okay. Why the hell am I freaking myself out so much?? Being a hormonal mess today is not helping things at all.

Did I really wish for this?! - and a belly pic

I can't believe I wished for morning sickness. I'm feeling pretty icky. It started yesterday after lunch (which I couldn't keep down) and it hasn't gone away. Getting ready this morning was kinda tough because I had to keep stopping to take deep breaths. I didn't get sick today, just feel like I really need to. It comes in waves. One second I feel fine, the next I feel like I should run to the bathroom. I'm pretty lucky though, I don't have it as bad as some people I know. I am at work (kinda) and am not actually throwing up (with yesterday as an exception). So, I guess it could be a lot worse. I really would love to lay down and curl up in a ball.

I have to work late tonight. Boo. It shouldn't be too bad, but I can barely make it through the day, let alone work late. I still need to scan the pics of our little sweet pea. I took a pic with my phone, It's not the best, but it's something! Here's my fat bloated belly at 6 weeks 2 days. I can't believe how bloated I am. I can't even believe I am posting this! I should have taken a picture of what I looked like before. I have NEVER been this bloated in my life. I'm almost embarrassed!
Ew!

There's our little sweet pea!!!

We have a heartbeat!!!!

I was so nervous yesterday. On my way to the hospital, I was shaking and felt sick. I knew we had a small chance of not hearing a heartbeat or seeing a baby. Thank goodness my husband was there. I think he was a little nervous too. I went in with my full bladder (that sucks) and she started out with an abdominal scan. At this point it was a bit of a blur. I remember seeing a sac (and mentioned that had to be a good sign). After looking a bit like that, she had me empty my bladder, thank goodness, and get ready for the trans vaginal. I could hear the hubby asking questions, it was so cute.

Right away as soon as the wand went in, we saw it, the beating little heart. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my entire life. She let us try to hear the heartbeat a little, but she told us she would go back to it. She measured everything and I was exactly right on. I knew I was exactly 6 weeks yesterday and my due date was July 12, and she confirmed it. My left ovary is double the normal size and I have cysts. I was a bit freaked out, but I'm not going to worry until the doctor starts to worry. After poking around she went back to our little baby, or fetal pole, lol. There is was, beating away. This time we got to hear it loud and clear. Our little bean's heart was beating at 116. Wow.

She had made a comment that she was so happy to see a heartbeat because all day she had miscarriages. THAT right there is what I was afraid of. THANK YOU GOD!!!!!! I KNOW we aren't out of the woods yet. I know we still have 6 weeks until we are out of our first trimester, but this is a start. We are half way there and we have a heartbeat. This is amazing.

I will post a picture later tonight. We need to scan the two pictures in that they gave us. You can't see much because it's literally a little blob, but it's MY BLOB! My baby with a beautiful beating heart. I started to cry the second time I heard it. It's such a miracle. Even the husband got a little teary eyed. Seeing him with that HUGE smile on his face was the world to me.

6 weeks and ultrasound day!

How far along? 6 weeks. I'm really thinking I'm almost 7 weeks though. Which would explain why my numbers are high.
Total weight gain/loss: Up about a pound, but still really bloated.
Maternity clothes? Nope. The jeans I wore yesterday were horribly uncomfortable though.
Sleep: Great! Super tired at night. I end up waking up a couple times in the early morning to use the restroom.
Best moment this week: My ultrasound today! I don't think I can wait till 2:30.
Movement: Too early, but I can't wait for that!
Food cravings: Pizza and sweets.
Gender: Too early!
Labor Signs: Um, no. I'm barely even pregnant!
Belly Button in or out? Everything is the same.
What I miss: Nothing!!!!
Weekly Wisdom: Again, avoid google at all costs and it's okay to keep taking pregnancy tests just to make sure you are still pregnant, right?
Milestones: Getting to 6 weeks!!

My birthday was AMAZING! I had to work late and came home to a HUGE balloon in the dining room with a card attached to it. The hubby looked really excited and told me to read the card. It was really sweet and had babies feet on the front. Inside he made a voucher for me to spend $100 in San Marcos (we're going to Austin Thanksgiving weekend). Sweet! I was a little suspicious though because he had mentioned after I bought the Coach purse that he was going to give me $350 to go get the purse I wanted. I made a comment that I guess I should have waited to get my purse. Just kidding of course! Oh, he also had picked up the pizza from Papa Murphy's too! Anyways, we put the pizza in the oven to cook. He went into the guest bathroom and asked if I had cleaned the shower since we had guests stay over. I told him I didn't, because we only had one guest for one night and it was still clean. He said, "well you better come here because there's black stuff in here." I couldn't imagine what he was talking about! When I went in there, at the bottom of the tub, was a beautifully wrapped gift!!

I opened the gift and he got me the Canon Rebel XS I've been dying for! I'm SOOOOOOOOOO excited! He also got me a telephoto lens to go with it! Wow. It's amazing. I am so spoiled. After playing with my new toy for awhile, we ate amazing pizza and then sat down to watch Dexter (I'm in love with that show). A little into the episode, he got up and got something from the fridge and came in with two HUGE cupcakes with candles and sang me Happy Birthday! It was the sweetest thing ever. I am one lucky woman. After we shoved the heavenly cupcakes in our mouths we relaxed and watched Dexter all night! It was the best birthday ever!

The rest of the weekend was spend mostly relaxing. We had Uverse come in most of Saturday morning. They put in our new cable. I love it!

K - now I have to wait patiently till 2:30! AH!

It's My Birthday!

Holy CRAP! I'm 29! I can't believe it. My husband just called and told me to call him on my way home because he has a little surprise for me. He's so stinking cute. I love him to pieces. Today has been INSANE!!!!!!!!! I've been so busy at work that I haven't had much time to breathe. I am looking forward to tonight! Relaxing with my hubby stuffing my face with pizza and frozen yogurt! It doesn't get any better than that! Check this out:

Crazy huh?! I love that it's above the high level. Makes me feel so much better! Stick baby stick!

Beta #4!

Wow - Beta No. 4 went so well!!!! 9268.7!!!! Last Friday it was 1421! I'm still in shock and so happy that it's going up! AND...............I go for an ultrasound on Monday!!!! I CANNOT WAIT! This is very exciting news. I don't know that we will be able to hear a heartbeat (think it's too early), but at least we will be able to see our little bean! I'm so ecstatic. What a wonderful birthday present!

Morning Sickness?

I think I am getting morning sickness. I am not feeling too hot. I feel like I could be sick at any moment. I gagged in the shower and my tummy is not feeling too good. I almost feel like I am fighting it down. Yikes. I asked for this, right?

I went for my 4th beta this morning and should know the results later today. I hope everything is okay and they are still rising as they should be. My breasts are killing me more today than they have in awhile and I'm so bloated I am so uncomfortable. I will take it all though. It's ALL worth it!!!

K, I'm going to crawl under my desk now.

Happy Hump Day!

We are half way there! I am soooooo ready for the weekend. I am ready to relax! I'm also looking forward to Friday Birthday Night! Pizza, frozen yogurt and movies! The husband was going to cook for me, but I want pizza instead. I have been CRAVING it, so that's what we decided on! I love snuggling on the couch watching movies. I have been staying up a little later lately which is nice. I'm still exhausted, but if I push myself, I can stay awake. The night before last I was up till almost midnight! We were watching Dexter and couldn't stop - we watched 4 episodes!! I was shocked I stayed awake!

I'm SO bloated today. More so than I have been. It's horrible. I don't have a problem gaining weight or getting a belly, but it's just FAT and bloat! Bad bad bad. I have been trying to eat better lately, which is kinda working out, but today at lunch with my healthy grilled chicken sandwich, I HAD to get onion rings. I just HAD TO! Ugh. I feel horrible now.

I've been walking a little more. Well, crap, two nights this week isn't much, but it's a start! I plan on going again tonight. Even if it's only 30 minutes I still feel better. I felt like I had more energy last night and this morning. My body was used to working out, and since I have been a huge slacker, that could be part of the reason I am SO exhausted.

I'm super busy at work today preparing for football playoffs this weekend - fun times! Your embryo (looking kind of like a tadpole) is starting to form major organs (heart, kidney, liver, stomach) and systems (nervous, circulatory, digestive). Baby's presence in your uterus triggers production of hCG (the hormone detected by pregnancy tests)... which triggers production of other hormones like estrogen and progesterone... which trigger all those great symptoms you've probably been noticing!

Another Beta test

The doctor wants to do another beta test on Thursday! This will be the fourth one! Insane! I asked the nurse if that was normal, and I guess it is for him. I'm not going to complain though. It gives me peace of mind to know that my numbers are rising like they should be. This is such a scary time and knowing that everything is seemingly okay is very reassuring.

The nurse, AKA Aunt Nadine (she is the best nurse EVER)! Last week when I had my scare, she gave me her cell phone number and told me to call her! How amazing is that? The whole office is amazing. I am so lucky. Anyways, Nadine said he might do a sonogram in a few weeks!!! My appointment is set for December 10th, but I guess he may see me earlier?! That would be amazing. Let's hope and PRAY that my numbers are still rising as they should be. I worry too much, I already love this baby more than anything! I don't want anything to go wrong.

P.S. my skirt is so tight today. I think it's time for it to be retired!

My Birthday Week!

Friday is my birthday! Yes, Friday the 13th! HA! I can't believe I am going to be 29. Seems like I just turned 21!! I've always loved my birthdays. Ever since I was little I have always had so much fun. My parents used to spoil me with presents and parties and as I got older it just seems to get better.

This year the husband is making me dinner on my birthday. I haven't decided what I want yet. He is an amazing cook, so whatever he makes will be yummy. I decided that since we are going to Austin at the end of the month, that can be my birthday trip (yes, I decided...ha). Usually he goes all out for my birthday. He took me to Vegas a few times, San Diego, one year he decorated the whole house with candles and cooked the most amazing meal ever! He had tons of presents for me. It was the sweetest thing ever! I bawled my eyes out! Here is the room I walked into for my 25th birthday:

Ya, he's pretty amazing! I know this year will be just as amazing, if not better. He seems to always out do himself.

The BEST part about this birthday is I'M PREGNANT! I just love saying that.

5 Weeks and Weekend Catch-up!

How far along? 5 weeks. I'm starting to wonder if I am further along than I think I am though.
Total weight gain/loss: Down half a pound, but man, my tummy looks HUGE! I am still very very bloated.
Maternity clothes? Nope! Although my clothes seem to already be getting pretty tight. WTH is going on here?
Sleep: Better. I got my pillow in the mail and I love it!
Best moment this week: It's just beginning, but last week it was great to find out my beta was 1421!
Movement: Does gas count?
Food cravings: Frozen yogurt. Which I got on Saturday night after begging for it for about a week.
Gender: Too early!
Labor Signs: Um, no. I'm barely even pregnant!
Belly Button in or out? I'm seriously worried about my belly button ring scar. It's a hole that didn't really close up. What the heck is going to happen to it!?
What I miss: Nothing!!!!
Weekly Wisdom: Call the doctor if you are having bad cramps and lower back pain that radiates into your hip.
Milestones: Getting to 5 weeks!!

The weekend went pretty well. We woke up Saturday morning and the husband told me to hurry up and get dressed because they were having an amazing deal on a 52' Sharp TV at Wal-Fart. We've been looking for a TV for our room for awhile now, but wanted to find the right deal, and this was a steal!! $898!! That's amazing considering the sticker price was $1,400! So of course the one closest to us didn't have any. I started to think this was a ploy to get people into this nasty ass store (sorry, I HATE that place). So, the smart person that I am decided to go check with customer service because the person working in the electronics department had problems. No, really, he did. He seriously told us he was going to go look in the back for us, just to double check. We said great and told him we would wait where we were. About 5 minutes later he came back and asked if he could help us. Um...okkkk. Never mind. We didn't even waste our time. We made it to customer service and they were helpful. They located the TV at the other Wal-Nasty in town and we headed over! Thankfully they had it! We got it home, and totally rearranged our bedroom (which I am totally in love with now). It is HEAVEN having a TV in our bedroom!!!

Yesterday we went and bought a few new pieces of artwork for the room. I can't wait to get them up. I will take pictures when the room is done. I'm loving it so far. We are putting splashes of red/burgundy and it's really making the room look so much better.

I had to work last night which was not fun because I was super tired and not feeling 100%. It went by pretty fast though.

I'm trying my best to eat better. My wonderful amazing hubby made me two eggs this morning, orange juice and a v-8. For lunch I'm having a peanut butter and jelly sammy with carrots. Boring, but good. I WILL not gain 500 pounds! It's really cute because the hubby is being all protective now. He's even reading the book my sister got him "The Expectant Father!" Gosh I love him!

K, I'm ready for a nap now...

WOW - that was scary!

Beta was 1421! Went from 183 on Monday to 1421 today. Phew! There wasn't as much blood in my urine as they had thought, which is a good thing. It may be the start of a kidney infection, in which case they will put me on antibiotics. They want to wait till the doctor gets back on Monday. Looks like my levels are good though!!!!!! Kinda high - twins?!

Having problems

I knew something was wrong. I'm freaking out right about now. Since this morning I have had cramping and lower back pain. The cramping comes and goes and is sometimes sharp, but it goes away. My back is pretty bad. I went in to the doctor. They did a urine analysis and it came up with a lot of blood in the urine. She thinks it's a kidney infection, which is NOT a good thing. Then, I had her do a pregnancy test because I just feel weird and the line was pretty light, so she sent me straight to get a blood test done. I won't know for 3-4 hours what the results are and I'm completely freaking out.

I'm loving life

How cute! My mom sent us that card. I starting crying. She's so excited and I'm just hoping and praying all goes okay. I'm almost regretting telling everyone because the heart break of telling everyone something bad happened will just be horrible. I need to stop thinking that way though! EVERYTHING will be okay! I need to remain positive.

I fell asleep on the couch really early again last night. It's such a struggle to stay awake! I ended up sleeping pretty well though. I was up once in the middle of the night to use the restroom and didn't have too much of a hard time falling back asleep. I feel much better today so far. I started taking DHA, which my doctor said may help with the sleepiness. This morning I had a Naked Juice "Superfood" on the way to work and I think that gave me a little more energy! I will have to try that again.

I have to work this Sunday night. BOOOO. I need to help with registration at the Christians United for Israel event. I don't think it should be too bad, but who wants to work Sunday night!? Today should also be a pretty busy day, I have a lot of work to get done! I feel like I have been in a haze for the last week. It's time to get moving!

I got my dress for his mom's wedding last night! The husband loves it! He said it is VERY flattering, which I love! Let's hope it still looks good in another month! I will be about 10 weeks, so I don't think it should be too bad. There's a little room to grow into. I stuck out my belly as far as I could last night while I had it on to "test" it...haha. I looked like a fat idiot.

My goal today is to not get tired! As soon as I start feeling sleepy I am going to get up and walk around and go outside for some fresh air!

As far as symptoms go, my breasts seem to hurt again. Not as bad, but they are sore. I've been having cramping too. Not horrible, but noticeable. I got the flu shot yesterday too. Let's hope that doesn't make me feel icky!

K - time to get to work! This will be a productive day! Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday!

Feeling great!

It worries me that I feel this good. I am a little tired this morning, but I have a feeling that my body is just getting used to no coffee. I wasn't as tired as usual last night either. I had enough energy to cook dinner and then we headed to the mall because I wanted to hit up pretty much the only maternity store we have here in Midland. A few of my friends told me to start on the Palmer's Stretch Mark Cream. My friend Leslie told me she started as soon as she found out she was pregnant, morning and night and never got one stretch mark. She said she was prone to them too! I know it's mostly genetics, but if I can help out in any way, I will! Of course the sales lady had me buy the "gift set" which included a few different creams and some kind of itch oil. I'm a sucker. I also bought a bella band thingy from them and a few belly bars (mmmm, yummy). It was a nice little outing!

Yesterday I ordered a few things off Amazon:

I ordered this Bella Band in black. I don't need them just yet, but I would love to have a few on hand for when I do need them. This is the Leachco Back 'N Belly - Contoured Body Pillow. I have a pillow fetish, so I ordered this awesome looking thing. It got amazing reviews on Amazon. It was a little pricey for a pillow, but I figure I can use it for a long time (when not pregnant as well).

Yesterday when I got home I had a present waiting for me from my awesome sister! She got us "What to Expect When Expecting" and this really awesome countdown to my pregnancy calendar. For Alex, she got "The Expectant Father." My sister is amazing! It's just so sad that we are so far away from each other at this amazing time in my life. I miss her more than anything!

4 Week Survey

How far along? 4 weeks and 2 days (I think - I am calculating this by when I believe I ovulated)
Total weight gain/loss: None yet, but holy heck I am bloated!
Maternity clothes? Not yet, but I did order the Bella Band!
Sleep: Horrible!! I'm so tired and end up falling asleep super early on the couch and once I get to the bed I can't sleep anymore. I toss and turn all night and have horrible nightmares.
Best moment this week: Finding out that my numbers are rising! 28.6 at 10 dpo to 183 at 14 dpo!
Movement: HAHA, no, but I can't wait for that feeling!
Food cravings: Sweets and pizza. Lovely, I know.
Gender: Two friends have said they KNOW it will be a boy. Where they are getting this, I have no idea!
Labor Signs: Um, no. I'm barely even pregnant!
Belly Button in or out? I think I am too early for these surveys!
What I miss: Nothing! I love being pregnant. I am ready for our first appointment already!
What I am looking forward to: Our first appointment on December 10th! I can't wait to hear the heartbeat!
Weekly Wisdom: Stay away from Google.
Milestones: Getting pregnant!!

I know I have a problem

With most of my symptoms going away, I decided to take a test this morning and was greeted with a very pretty dark line. It's crazy how much darker it is from 10 to 16 dpo. I'm liking that a lot! I don't feel as freaked out anymore. I have also come to terms with everything. What ever is meant to be, will happen. It's in God's hands. I can do my part by taking vitamins and eating right, but that's about it! I have faith that all will be okay.

I fell asleep on the couch last night around 7pm. I haven't been this tired in my entire life. It feels like someone drained the juice out of me. I am a walking zombie. Alex woke me up around midnight when he went to bed and from then on I couldn't sleep. It was on and off. My brain was going crazy, not to mention I just slept 3 hours! I need to push myself to stay away till at least 9:30 or 10. I need to push myself to workout too! I think that will help me and give me a little more energy.

I am VERY busy at work today - it WILL be a good day! I took a belly pic because I am SOOOOOOOOOO bloated, but decided not to post it because I seriously look fat. I have NEVER been this bloated in my entire life. It's worse at night too. It's kinda embarrassing! haha!

Bye Bye Symptoms!

Well, no more sore boobies. Basically all my symptoms are gone. I am still tired, but that's about it. My doctor just called and they are going to do another blood test next Monday without me even asking! Thank goodness!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy about that. I think I will feel better knowing that the numbers are going up.

I have some pressure down below and VERY mild cramping, but no spotting or anything. This first trimester thing is a scary thing! I have freaked myself out too much by all the reading I do. I need to stop freaking myself out because it can't be good.

No more worrying! I am going to concentrate on work and my husband and taking care of myself. That's all I really can do at this point. I need to pray that everything will be okay.

On a different note, we leave for Austin in a couple weeks! 23 days to be exact. I can't wait! Shopping, here we come. They have these great outlet stores in San Marcos that we went to last year. It was a little hectic because it was Black Friday, but it was a blast!

Oh, and look what I got for myself! It's an early b-day present/happy pregnancy gift to myself!

14 dpo - Beta 183

Betas are good - we are going to set up my ten week appointment for sometime around December 10th! YAY!

This is going to be a long 8 months

I am so impatient! I am waiting on the blood test results and can't stand it. I'm about to call them to see what the deal is. It's supposed to take 3-4 hours for the results and 4 hours was at 1! WTH!? She said she would call me right away!

This can't be good. Maybe it isn't good news...I'm so scared.

I still can't believe it...

It seems most of the symptoms that I was having are pretty much gone. It's weird, I felt more pregnant before I knew (and way too early), than I do now. I almost WANT to be sick and have sore boobs! Bring it on! I read that the sicker you are, the less likely you are to have a miscarriage. I told the hubby that I wouldn't mind being sick, if it meant things would be okay.

I just got back from getting more blood drawn. I will find out today if the numbers are rising as they should be. I really hope they are. I keep praying and praying that everything will be okay, but it's so early that we just won't know.

I hate that we have to wait until 10 weeks to see the doctor for the first time. It just seems like such a long time, but then when I think about it, that should be the week of December 9th. Next month sounds so much better than 10 weeks!

Today is 14 dpo. I need to keep reminding myself that it's still super early! I am SUPER SUPER moody. Poor hubby. I am driving him up a wall. I've also been super tired. Saturday was the worst. I almost couldn't get off the couch all day. I made myself eventually to clean. Yesterday was a lot better and I seemed to have more energy. I did pass out pretty early though. My boobies have been sore off and on. More at night, but not as bad as they have been. I told the hubby that I want them to hurt! It makes me feel more pregnant!

From what I am figuring, I should be about 5 weeks. I think my due date should be July 11th (our first year anniversary). This is all going off of when I believe we conceived since my period is so difficult to calculate off of. I have no clue how long my normal cycle is and since I believe I ovulated on the 18th or 19th, I'm using that date. It shouldn't be this difficult, but of course, my body is crazy.

Please pray that the numbers are doing what they should be!!

A Blog Award!!

I won an award!! It's from Rebecca over at A Southern Boy and A City Girl. Thank you Rebecca! Your blog is always so fun to read, and you always leave the nicest comments.

Here are the rules for the award:

1)You must thank the person who gave the award and list their blog and link it.
2) You must share "10 Honest Things" about yourself.
3) You have to present this award to 7 others whose blogs you find brilliant in content and/or design, or those who have encouraged you.
4) Last, you must tell those 7 people they've been awarded HONEST SCRAP and inform them of these guidelines in receiving the award.

10 Honest Things About Me
1) I am so nervous about being pregnant! I'm worried something will happen.
2) I am a horrible procrastinator.
3) I am horrible at calling people back. I somehow never hear my phone and never seem to call people back. SORRY!
4) I'm the luckiest woman alive - I married my best friend.
5) I'm still addicted to taking pregnancy tests, even though I know they are POSITIVE!
6) I call my doctor's office way too much, they all know be by name and were so excited yesterday when they told me I am pregnant.
7) I am horrible with money.
8) I'm addicted to expensive hair products, make-up, lotion, perfume (hence the bad with money thing above).
9) I rode my bike almost 600 miles in one week from San Francisco to Los Angeles. It was the most amazing accomplishment I have yet to do.
10) I love working out, but have been TOO tired to go.

I have chosen these blogs to give this award to:

Houston, we have darker lines...

WHOOHHOOO! The line was darker this morning. I also had to do a digital just to get the "pregnant" and sure enough, it was. I tried taking pictures, but my iPhone wasn't working out. BUT, I did take a picture of how I surprised him:

This is the first door you see coming in from the garage. He looked at it and got a HUGE smile on his face. We had got that onesie in Monte Carlo on our honeymoon, knowing that one day we would have a baby to fill it! We hugged for a long time and laughed. After that we called his mom to give her the good news, she was elated! He kept looking at me with this huge smile. It was the sweetest thing ever. We called out family (only parents and brothers/sisters). We also decided to tell a few friends because if something does happen (God forbid), we want them to be there for us. We always thought we wouldn't tell anyone, but we are TOO EXCITED! This all feels so surreal.

Thanks for the Congrats ladies!!

I'm Pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, the doc just called and my betas were 28.6 which is normal for only 10 dpo. She said, "You're Pregnant!" I about died. Going Monday for more blood work. PRAY that they go up!! I am going to test everyday and PRAY the lines get darker and darker. I am shocked. In shock. Can't breathe. Oh my gosh. I know being pregnant doesn't mean we get a baby, but it's the first step. Oh please let this be a healthy 9 months!!!!!!!!!!

Blood Test

Well, I called my doctor and they congratulated me. I am still not getting too excited, but she said ANY kind of pink line is a positive. I had a blood test done a little bit ago and will know by the end of today what my levels are. It's sooooo hard not to get too excited!! AH! I will be sure to update when I know!

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness!!

Today is 10 dpo and I of course took a test...and...there was a FAINT(I mean faint) pink line!! I tried to take a picture of it:
But it's so faint, it doesn't show up. It is there though. I could see it from all different angles and didn't have to take it apart! lol. I am NOT going to freak out and get too excited though. I don't consider that a positive. I want to, but until I see a prominent line there, I will remain calm. Hopefully when I test tomorrow it will be darker! Please oh please oh please let this be real! I woke up the husband and told him there was a FAINT FAINT pink line, but he wasn't impressed. He, like me, doesn't think this is it, YET!

Last night I was having a few more symptoms. My mouth was so watery all night (and still is). I noticed it when we were grocery shopping. My boobs are killing me! It seems to get worse at night though. I also noticed TONS AND TONS of blue veins all over them. I'm sure I'm reaching here, but hey...they are signs!

Damn evap lines

It was an evap line. lol.

Big Fat....

NEGATIVE! LOL. I knew it would be. BUT, BUT, BUT...I swear I saw something. It looks like there was an invisible line. I know, I know, but I took it apart (it's just a dollar tree cheapie) and there was a spot for a line and on the one I took last night, yes, I know, shuushh, that line thingy wasn't there. I'm reaching. I know I officially lost it. I'm not holding on to the hope that it will turn into something, but I swear I saw something. I didn't show it to the husband, but I told him about it...he just laughed. At least he still loves me, even if I am close to clinically insane. So, tomorrow I will test again at 10 dpo. It's okay if I'm not pregnant...the fun is in the trying.

Anyways...

I had a meeting last night at 7 p.m. and didn't get home until after 8:30. I was SOOOO tired and slept so well last night. I didn't wake up once, which come to think of it, it's been like that the last three nights. I love that! I was having problems waking up a few times in the middle of the night all last week. My brain was on overload, but thankfully, I think that has passed.

We just made our flight arrangements for our friends Tiffany and Mitch's wedding in April. Two trips to California coming up, and I couldn't be more excited! I miss everyone so much. I had a nice conversation with Emily last night, despite the face that it was cut short because of my meeting. I love her and miss her so much!

Oh, and even though this is a horrible, terrible picture, here is our new bedding!!! I love it, love it, love it! I need to figure out what accent color I want to go with because I need more pillows. I love pillows! I quickly made it and took a picture, so I promise you, I normally know how to make a bed. What color do you think we should do? I want something that I can do curtains in as well and that goes with the wall color. Any ideas?

Testing tomorrow morning...

I know it's too early, but there have been some women who were lucky enough to get a BFP at 9DPO. I will not get discouraged if it is negative and I'm 99.99% sure it will be. I need to do this for peace of mind...

So sad...

I am so sad today. I have no idea why. I feel depressed. This is a sign that AF is coming. Usually the week before she shows her face I get irritable and sad. The good news is that maybe, just maybe, it will come without the help of Provera. I would very much like that because it means I ovulated! I'm not going to count my chickens yet though.

Last night my cat slept on my stomach for a couple hours. All 16+ pounds of him. haha. I told my hubby that he was wishing there was a little baby in there. lol. I know...

Anyways, I'm just sad and blue. Feel like I could cry any second. I almost want to so I can get it out of my system! I watched Bringing Home Baby this morning. I didn't cry, and wasn't sad when watching it either. I know we will be there eventually. I guess I shouldn't have watched it though because I am sure that is where some of this sadness is coming from. I don't know why I am so sad, it's only our first month of Clomid. The doctor said it will take a few months, I need to remember that.

I try not to bombard the hubby with all of this, thankfully I have a blog and my one follower. =) It's nice to vent, even though I am sure it gets pretty redundant. I bitch about the same thing every post. I need to change that.

I need serious help.

I'm starting to think I have a cyst. I know, I know...here I go with Internet diagnosing. I need to stop it, but I was right about the PCOS (wish I wasn't). Here's why I think this:

I have pressure/pain in the abdomen
I have a dull ache in my lower back
I have pain after sex
I'm getting fat (no, no...it isn't the chocolate bar and fast food I have been eating)
I have nausea (off and on)
I have dizziness

WTH!?! Whyyyy am I doing this to myself.

The backache is new today. About 15 minutes ago I had about 7 sharp stabbing pains in my left ovary. Implantation?! LOL - most likely not. I'm psychotic.

I have a doctor's appointment next Tuesday. Let's a) hope I am pregnant or b) if that doesn't happen I start my period without the drugs. I like option A. I'm not that lucky though.

I'm so tired...thank goodness this day is OVER!

7 DPO

Well, all of my "pregnancy" symptoms that I was having last week are pretty much gone. Lately I have been getting dizzy spells quiet often and had a pretty vivid dream last night, but that's just me LOOKING for symptoms. My boobies have been a LITTLE sore, but nothing to write home about. DAMN! On Friday I was pretty sure I was pregnant. Of course it was WAY too early to tell, but I had it in my brain that I was pregnant! I talked to the doctor and they mentioned that they thought I was too. Of course, all this speculation and MAKING symptoms is going to make it seem like I am pregnant! They said it sounded like maybe, just maybe I was pregnant with multiples which is why I would experience symptoms so soon. Oh, and before this was said, she did say, "I don't want to get your hopes up, but..." HAHAHA! Oh my gosh. Well, I'm pretty sure I'm not. I did test like the crazy POAS whore that I am. Seriously, I knew they were going to be BFN's, but I still tortured myself anyways. I think I took about 5 tests this weekend. I have problems. Maybe there are help groups for people like me? I need to stop googling all my symptoms and STOP testing before I lose my mind.

My dumbass was on the phone with my mother in law Friday and told her what the doctor said and that I "JUST KNOW" and she about blew out my ear drum with excitement! Why the hell would I do that?! Can't I just keep my mouth shut? Now when I tell her that I am just delusional I will look, well, delusional. We only plan to tell select people when it actually happens. His parents, my mom and sister and a few friends and that's it! Oh, and of course the entire blog world. Who knows if this will seriously be the case. I know us...we will be too damn excited not to share it with the world!

P.S. I am soooo ready for Christmas! Can I decorate now?

3 DPO

This is going to be WAY TMI, but after we BD last night I was in so much pain I couldn't stand OR sit! I couldn't get comfortable. It got better as the night went on. My poor ovaries. I think they are enlarged. That seems to be the best logical reason for all the pain. I am hoping and praying that I don't have a cyst. The longer I have this pain, the more I am convinced that this isn't our month. I know it's too soon to know and I should remain positive, but I am really contemplating if I even ovulated now. Who knows! I told myself I was going to remain positive though. It ain't over till AF shows her ugly face!

I have a few weird things going on still though:

- Food is off to me. I ordered my FAVORITE Thai dish for lunch yesterday and couldn't eat it. It tasted really weird and the smell bothered me. I ended up eating a frozen pizza later and had no problems with it.

- My nipples are sensitive - they don't hurt, but are a little sensitive.

- My stomach still feels REALLY weird. Only when I press on it though. It's hard to explain.

- I am STARVING! If I don't eat, I feel like I am going to be sick.

- I am moody!

- And of course the cramping.

WTH is going on with me?! I blame it all on the damn clomid. I could have possibly O'd earlier than I thought, but I don't think so. I have tons of the cheapy pregnancy tests that I may just go ahead and take for peace of mind. Damn clomid.

Feeling so weird

I don't know what is going on with my body. I am thinking it's the clomid. I have had these stupid cramps for what seems like forever now. The worst of it was on Sunday, but they seem to be sticking around. I thought for sure they were going away yesterday, but no such luck. It's mostly on my left side. My ovaries feel HUGE! I am bloated beyond belief and my stomach feels really weird too. Like when I push on it, it's just different. I just feel weird all over. I couldn't sleep last night either. I'm only 2 DPO...wayyyyy too early for any pregnancy symptoms, so I am not getting my hopes up just yet.

This is a bitch post. Wah!

DPO1

These were supposed to go at the bottom of my post...oh well...
My beautiful moms...My mom on the left (she was so happy her hair grew back in time for the wedding) and my Mother-in-Law. Love them both so much!
C'mon two week wait! I hope these two weeks fly by. It's funny because I really don't think this is our month and I am trying my best not to get my hopes up, but it's still fun. AND...if I get a BFN I am not going to fret. We will have another month of trying ahead of us. We want this to be fun. Of course it seems a litttttle mechanical because we need to "time" things a little more careful, but that's okay. Peeing on those darn OPK's are not very sexy. On Saturday I ran to him with the positive and I think that grossed him out a little bit. I guess he doesn't want to see my pee stick!

I woke up this morning and my breasts were heavy. Not sore, but heavy feeling. This clomid is a crazy thing. I didn't really have any symptoms while taking it, it all started a few days after I finished. I had the hot flashes, but not too horrible. Insomnia, but only for about 3 nights. Headaches, for about 2 weeks off and on. Bloating! Whoa. And wonderful cramps! They seem to be almost ALL better today, so I really think I was ovulating. Oh Lord, please let it be true! If that is the case and I am not pregnant then I should start my period on my own without the help of the Provera. I am crossing my fingers that this is the case.

K, off this subject now...it's obviously ALL I can think about!

This past weekend the husband and I took a mini road trip to Lubbock. It's almost a two hour drive and pretty boring, but we made it fun. We always have so much fun together. Just being huge dorks together. I needed to go to David's Bridal to get my dress for his mom's wedding in December. I think I mentioned this before, but I am the Matron of Honor. I love her SO much and am so excited to be in her wedding.

I am back into the swing of things with my new "old" job. I forgot how much work it was! It's a little stressful, but I'm loving every minute of it. I really miss the law firm girls. A select few anyways. I'm taking Leslie out for her birthday on Thursday. Fun times!
We had a little scare with my mom this past week. She called me on Thursday and told me that they found another lump. I have been so stressed out since she told me. Her appointment was yesterday and it was just a swollen lymph node! Phew. I just about cried when she told me that. I was so worried about her. I didn't want her to have to go through chemo again. It almost killed her last time and I don't think she could have handled another round of it. Thank you Lord. We prayed so hard and had all my friends and family in on it...it worked.

Not sure I'm liking this clomid...

I have been in pain since Friday. The worst of it was yesterday. I am assuming (hoping) that I either ovulated or am about to ovulate. I THINK I had a positive OPK on Saturday night. I think anyways, I should have purchased the expensive ones with the smiley face. Who knows what is going on. I took some tylenol and then relaxed for awhile yesterday and that seemed to do the trick. Please oh please let me be ovulating! These pains are no fun if that isn't the case.

I think I will count today as ovulation day (why didn't I start temping, damnit!) and then tomorrow will be DPO1. That seems to make sense to me. I figure since Saturday I got the positive OPK then 12-48 hours would put me at today as ovulation day, right? This is insane. Oh well. I am not going to worry about it. I am not getting my hopes up either! Hello Two Week Wait!

Ouch

My nipple, only the left one, is burning. It's been happening on and off since yesterday.

That's all.

I'm back!

I love my husband. He is amazing. I know, barf, right?? I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband. He makes my world complete! No more mushy stuff...

I've been so busy at my "new" old job that I haven't had a chance to blog! Things have been hectic, but great! I love my job, which is such a nice thing to say. I do miss the people at the law firm. Especially Leslie! It's weird coming to work in the morning and not having her here to catch up with. I haven't even had a chance to see her since I left! That's how busy I have been!

I am currently on CD 13. I think the effects of the clomid are finally hitting me too. I have been getting headaches, night sweats and pains in my left ovary. It's tolerable though. I tested my LH levels the last couple days, but they have been negative. I don't think this is going to be our month, so I am not too worried about it. I am not going to stress out anymore! That's my plan anyways, lets see how well that works out.

My plan is to work on the honeymoon posts this weekend!
