25 Weeks 4 Days - and belly pic

How far along? 25 weeks and 4 days
Total weight gain/loss: Not sure at this point. I go back to the doctor this week and will find out then. I have been working out about 3-4 times a week though!
Maternity clothes? Yup! Just ordered a few new things from the Gap. Can't wait to get them!
Sleep: I really don't want to jinx it, but it's been pretty good lately. I still wake up 1-2 times a night, but can usually fall right back asleep. It's really nice!
Best moment this week: Last Monday was our very first birth class. It was pretty neat. It's at the hospital and is a 6 week course. We meet on Monday nights from 7-9. Last week we introduced ourselves (it's a HUGE class), the instructor then had us break up - the men and the women. We had to write down all the good and bad things about pregnancy. It was hilarious to hear the good and the bad from the men's point of view. We learned a few things and watched part of a video. The BEST part was the last 15 minutes or so of the class we all got on the floor and our significant others had to relax us. We had to simulate as if we were in pre-term labor. I sat in between his legs and he gave me an amazing massage. It was HEAVEN! I can't wait for that again tonight. hehe.
Food cravings: Still sweet stuff.
Gender: BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Belly Button in or out? Still getting stretched out.
What I miss: A belly without stretch marks! I'm SOOOOOO sad! I'm getting a ton already and I still have 3 more months to go. I'm kinda freaking out, but I know it will all be worth it. What's a few stretch marks? I keep putting on this cream hoping for a miracle. I even went and spent $35 on the stuff below. It got great reviews, but there is no cream in the world that will make them not happen. I know it's hereditary. I hope maybe it will prevent maybe one?

Here I am at 25 Weeks 1 Day. I cut my head out because I looked like CRAP! My hair wasn't working and I had a funky look on my face. LOL! Here's the belly though!

He's been moving a lot more in the last few days. I guess he was either having a growth spurt for a few days or was just tired! We played a cute game last week. I pushed on my belly and he kicked back! We did this for almost 5 minutes. It was amazing! Speaking of him moving, he's moving right now! Gosh, that feeling never gets old.

24 Weeks 6 Days

How far along? 24 weeks and 6 days
Total weight gain/loss: I think something is wrong with me. No, seriously. I'm gaining weight by just looking at food. I'm going to talk to the doc about this at my next appointment. It's just so weird. I'm working out about 3-4 times a week. Granted, it's only 30 minutes on the elliptical, but I'm not eating terribly. I don't really get it.
Maternity clothes? Wearing a non-maternity dress today and it still fits great. It's an empire waist dress though. Found great maternity pantyhose! Love them!
Sleep: Still about the same. I wake up off and on, but it isn't too bad.
Best moment this week: Ummmmm...
Food cravings: Cinnamon roll! I FINALLY had one last night and it was HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!
Gender: BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Belly Button in or out? Same as last week. It's stretching out, but that's about it.
What I miss: Feeling him move like crazy. He's been pretty quiet the last two days which I HATE! I love when he's a crazy man in there because it makes me feel SO much better. I'm not too worried about it anymore. I know he's going to have his lazy days and stress isn't good for him. He's okay. I felt him once or twice this morning, so I'm not too concerned. I did talk to my nurse who wants me to check on him after lunch. If he doesn't start moving them I think I'm going to go get checked. I'm such a paranoid first time mom! LOL! I'm trying SO hard not to freak out about every little thing. It's so hard though!

I can't believe the ticker says only 106 days left. Wow! Time is flying by! Can't wait to have him here in our arms!

My Little Soccer Player

I have a mover. Two nights ago, we were sitting on the couch and all of a sudden he started moving like crazy! I pulled my shirt up and we were able to see him kick my stomach up. It was the most amazing thing EVER! We were both laughing and loving every minute of it. I couldn't even concentrate on the movie we were watching because I was more interested in watching him move my stomach. Wow.

I'm so very much ready for the weekend. I went to bed kinda late last night, shocker! It was almost 11! We watched 2012 which was a pretty horrible movie. I was entertained though. The action scenes were pretty cool. Enough to keep me away until almost 11! Since I stayed up so late I had an amazing night of sleep! I only woke up once (around 3:30), but fell right back asleep. I don't even remember my crazy dreams. I love (and miss) sleep like that.

A little note to my precious son:

Jacob,

We love you so much already! It's amazing how much love daddy and I have for you and you're not even here yet. We talk to you every day and tell you that. Daddy talks to you about how excited he is to meet you and will sometimes read a book to you. You make mommy so happy. As soon as I feel you move in the morning I get a really big smile on my face and take that with me the entire day. Having you in my belly makes every day like my birthday. I am surely going to miss feeling you when you finally get here. Daddy and I can't wait to meet you and hold you! Only 112 more days sweet boy! We love you!

23 Weeks and 4 Days (with a few pics)

How far along? 23 weeks and 4 days! Wow.
Total weight gain/loss: I'm not sure really. I don't really want to know either. I know that is terrible, but I will wait till my next appointment on the 1st to see.
Maternity clothes? That's all I wear really.
Sleep: Still about the same. I wake up off and on, but it isn't too bad.
Best moment this week: Getting his nursery painted!
Food cravings: Fruit and sweets.
Gender: BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Belly Button in or out? Same as last week. It's stretching out, but that's about it.
What I miss: Nothing really. I love having this little boy in my belly. I made a comment that it feels like my birthday everyday with him in there. If I wake up in a bad mood, he makes it all better as soon as he kicks and says good morning. He makes everyday an amazing one.

Last Thursday, I got off work and had to do this:

I had kankles going on. lol.

LOOK what we got!! I'm in love with our new coffee maker! I've had a couple regular cups of coffee with caffeine and all! I know, I'm a bad girl, but I couldn't help it!!

Look at the yummy dinner my husband made me last week! MMMMMMM!
It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

And here I am before going to a BBQ at our neighbors house on Saturday.

On Saturday, the husband went shooting with a couple friends, which gave me the PERFECT opportunity to paint the nursery! I wanted to surprise him, so I got the paint on Friday at lunch and had my wonderful friend Leslie come over to help. Thankfully, my neighbor Joie ended up coming over to help or we would have never finished. These girls are amazing! I'm so blessed to have them as friends. I just recently met Joie. She rocks! I'm so glad we met and have become friends. I took a few before pictures and will post those when I have the after. We need to do a few touch-up's which we will do next weekend and then the following weekend we will finally set up the furniture. I can't wait! He was soooooo surprised when he saw the room! He was so happy and thankful. It's so so so so nice to have it started.

22 Weeks 5 Days!

How far along? 22 weeks and 5 days! Wow.
Total weight gain/loss: Don't know. Won't know till next appointment. I am trying to work out more and eat better though. Hopefully it won't be a 9 pound gain in one month again. Oops.
Maternity clothes? Yep! Just got a few new things last night. I feel huge.
Sleep: A little better. I'm not getting up in the middle of the night, which is good. I still wake up only about once and then can usually fall back asleep.
Best moment this week: Feeling him kick my hand and getting his furniture delivered.
Food cravings: I've been craving a cinnamon roll like nothing other. I've even had a dream about it. I haven't given in though. Other than that, nothing really. I want sweets all the time, but am still not giving in.
Gender: BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Belly Button in or out? Same as last week. It's stretching out, but that's about it.
What I miss: Nothing! I love being pregnant. I can't wait to meet him.

No real news or changes in the last week. He's been moving around like crazy which never gets old. I can tell he's bigger now because last night I felt him at the top and bottom of my stomach at the same time. He must have been trying to get comfortable. This morning he was doing rolls or something! It was amazing. The husband still hasn't felt him. He doesn't have the patience. I love him to pieces, but he gets frustrated fast and gives up. Soon enough though he will be kicking his hands too.

21 Weeks - and a little catch-up

How far along? 21 weeks and 4 days!
Total weight gain/loss: OMG! 20 pounds. Yep. 20.
Maternity clothes? Yep. Yep!
Sleep: It's okay. It's so weird to be such a light sleeper now. I used to be able to sleep through everything. Now, the slightest sounds or movements will wake me up. I am constantly needing to roll over in my sleep too which is a pain because it's such a hassle already.
Best moment this week: Knowing that everything is okay.
Food cravings: Sweets, sweets and more sweets. I am not giving in anymore though. I made a smoothie last night and will have that when I am craving something sweet. Fruit and yogurt are much better for me than the bag of gummy worms I crave all the time. lol.
Gender: BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Belly Button in or out? It's still in, but getting a little stretched already.
What I miss: Nothing really. Well, I take that back...I miss having a smaller ass. Not a SMALL ass because I've never really had one, but holy hell, my ass is HUGE!!

I'm definitely feeling a lot more pregnant lately. I love feeling him move and wiggle all day. It seriously doesn't get old. Every time he moves, I stop what I'm doing and wait for him to move again. Wow. I know I am going to miss this when he's here. Just having him with me at every second of the day is such an amazing feeling.

I'm fat. I know I'm pregnant, but I think I might have overindulged a little too much and I really need to step it back a little. Of course no dieting, but maybe saying no to that 10 pound cupcake last week would have been a smart idea. There is no reason I should have already gained 20 pounds at this point. I know I'm going to hear it again when I go to the doctor this week.

It feels like the days, weeks and months are rolling by! I can't believe it's March already. Where did January and February go? I feel like I'm always going to my monthly doctors appointment. Weird. I'm not complaining because we seriously cannot wait for July to get here so we can meet our precious son, but I still can't believe how fast time is flying! On the flip side, I can't believe I have 4 more months to go! lol.

My mother-in-law and bro-in-law were here for a week. They just left last Wednesday. I was sad to have them go because it's really nice having them here, but it was also nice to have the house back. Our house, although it's 2,100 sq. feet, is small for that many people. It's just hard. I know when Jacob gets here it will be difficult to have multiple visitors at a time. We have our guest bedroom, so one person is perfect, but any more than that it gets a little cramped. Which leads me to our HUGE dilemma we are dealing with right now. His mom wants to come out for a month when the baby gets here. This is great, because I know she will be such an amazing help, BUT, my mom, his dad (and significant other), my sister, his brothers and my best friends all want to come too. We figured we would just put everyone up in a hotel to save on headaches, but I don't know how that's going to work. His mom keeps telling me that she will take the couch and my mom can have the guest bedroom, which I guess would work out, but I don't want to have everyone on top of each other. It seems like we will have so much to adjust to with having a new baby - having too many people staying with us might be too much. We are working on it. It will ALL work out, it always does. We are blessed that we have so many people that love us and our son!

I had a little scare last week. I was spotting pink and brown for about 3 days. I went to the doctor on Friday and had everything checked out. Thankfully the baby and I are doing just fine. The doctor told me I have a "grungy" cervix. What the hell does that mean? I have no idea. He said about 50% of women have it and it's fine. Really? I have a grungy cervix? So, he said to take it easy and rest when it happens. All day Friday I laid on my left side in bed and didn't do much at all this weekend and it seems to be gone. I was totally freaked out for awhile there. I thought for sure I had an incompetent cervix and something horrible was going to happen. Damn Google. I am the worst with that. I'm okay though and so is our precious son.

More later...busy at work!
