29 Weeks 6 Days (with pic)!

How far along? 29 weeks and 6 days
Total weight gain/loss: I don't want to know. It's bad. I know it's bad. I really don't know why I'm gaining so much weight though! I don't eat fast food. I don't eat ice cream. I don't eat chocolate everyday. You'd think I was shoving my face with horrible food all the time! I eat lots of fruit. Weird.
Maternity clothes? Of course.
Sleep: Well, I totally jinxed myself. He moved last Friday. I think he was feet down for a few days and was literally kicking my cervix and bladder. It was very painful and not fun AT ALL. I would much rather have him in my ribs. It was even hard to walk at some points because it was so bad.
Best moment this week: Getting done with our baby classes.
Food cravings: Fruit and mango sorbet.
Gender: BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Belly Button in or out? Still getting stretched out. It looks so weird!
What I miss: Nothing really. I've come to terms with the stretch marks.

Horrible picture, but you get the point. I'm HUGE! I feel huge too. Little man has THANKFULLY moved and has now taken refuge in my ribs again. I can handle this. It's not the best feeling, but it's SO much better than my bladder and cervix.

I think I will share my horribly embarrassing story here. I figure it will be something to look back at and laugh, right? On Saturday the husband and I were in the kitchen about to make dinner. We were talking and I think I said something funny and we both started to laugh. Then my throat made a funny noise and we both started to laugh harder. I tinkled a little which made me laugh EVEN more and then it happened. I peed all over our kitchen floor. Not just a little bit...it was a river of pee. I didn't know what to do! Alex's face was priceless. I just started bawling. I couldn't believe that happened! I ran to the bathroom and jumped into the shower and you know what my lovely husband did? He cleaned up my pee!!!!!! He's pretty damn amazing. Not only that, but he didn't laugh at me, he didn't make fun of me. He just loved me, rubbed my back and made me feel better about my "accident." I couldn't believe that happened. Good one.

28 Weeks 6 Days

How far along? 28 weeks and 6 days
Total weight gain/loss: No clue. Don't want to know either! I go back to the doctor next Thursday and will find out then. Boo.
Maternity clothes? Of course.
Sleep: I don't get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom which is nice. I do wake up a lot to reposition because I'm getting very uncomfortable. My hips and back are starting to hurt pretty bad.
Best moment this week: Going home to California for our friends wedding.
Food cravings: Fruit and mango sorbet.
Gender: BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Belly Button in or out? Still getting stretched out. It looks so weird!
What I miss: Nothing really. I've come to terms with the stretch marks.

I will update more later...with more pics from our trip home!

The Bedding!

We changed our bedding. I had originally purchased the one below, but the reviews were horrible! People were saying that it started to look "old" after only one wash and the bumper fell apart after only one wash. Too bad too, because I loved it and it wasn't cheap! So I will be taking it back probably tonight. Here is the old: HERE IS THE NEW ONE!!

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO in love with the new one. I love love love the little elephants and the colors...and, well...just about everything! Can't wait to get it! It takes 4 weeks to ship and the lovely husband won't purchase it until I take the old one back, so I want to do that ASAP!

Isn't it cute?

27 Weeks 6 Days + Nursery Beginning

How far along? 27 weeks and 6 days
Total weight gain/loss: Last time I checked I was up 3 pounds in only 2 weeks. Scary. I haven't been working out though, so I have a feeling that has something to do with it. I need to get back on the elliptical, but I have been so uncomfortable and tired, that I haven't had the energy! I told myself that next week I have NO excuses!
Maternity clothes? Of course.
Sleep: It hasn't been too bad lately actually, except for last night. I was awake off and on from 2am-6am. No fun!
Best moment this week: Our baby class and every time the husband puts his hand on the belly, Jacob says hello. It's the cutest thing in the whole entire world. It has happened twice this week. Once while we were in our baby class, he was rubbing the belly and little man gave him two good kicks to say hello and then stopped. Then again this morning, we were laying in bed having our morning coffee and he decided to say hello with two quick jabs and then settled back down. It was amazing! Makes me smile just to think about it - he sure loves his daddy already.
Food cravings: Fruit and mango sorbet.
Gender: BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Belly Button in or out? Still getting stretched out. It looks so weird!
What I miss: Nothing really. I've come to terms with the stretch marks.

We are coming along on the nursery. It is now all painted, finally!! We have decided to add crown molding, which I think will add so much to the room. The contractor is coming next week to put them in and then the following week we can FINALLY put together all the furniture that has been sitting in boxes in the middle of the room!!
I still need to figure out what to do about window treatments in here. That top window makes things a little difficult. We are also going to change out the light fixture because the one that is up there now is so dim. I hate it!

OMG - I can't believe I'm putting this on the Internet! HAHA!! Here's the big ol' belly at 27 weeks! I swear, I'm even bigger now.

26 Weeks 6 Days

How far along? 26 weeks and 6 days
Total weight gain/loss: I only gained 3 pounds last month! WOOT WOOT! I think it was less than that because a) I was wearing jeans; and b) I ate breakfast before I went. haha!
Maternity clothes? Of course.
Sleep: It hasn't been too bad lately actually.
Best moment this week: Finally feeling better. More on this below.
Food cravings: Nothing really. I would LOVE a cinnamon roll, but I'm not going to give in.
Gender: BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Belly Button in or out? Still getting stretched out.
What I miss: A stretchie-less belly. =( They seem to be getting worse everyday. I'm dealing though.

I can't believe we are in the double digits! Time is flying by. I can't believe tomorrow I will be 27 weeks! WHOA!

Last week was HORRIBLE! On Tuesday I came to work not feeling 100%. I knew I had to stick it out though because I have NO sick time. So...I suffered. Later in the afternoon my back really started to hurt. It was pretty bad. I couldn't sit for more than 5 minutes in my chair before I had to get up and stretch the pain away. This went on for about two hours before I decided to go lay down in an empty office. I needed a second to regroup because I was really getting worse by the minute. The floor was horrible, but I laid there for about 30 minutes until a co-worker came and got me. This is where things started to get really bad! I was sooooo sore, cold, and just plain sick. I had to leave. I made it until 4pm though! lol! I'm not sure how I drove home. I was in so much pain and was just icky. My whole body hurt at this point. Even my hair. haha. I got home and quickly took my temperature since I had the chills in 90 degree weather, but it was normal. Hmm. I changed in to my jammies and got into bed where I just moaned and cried from the pain. I took my temperature again (only about 10 minutes later) and it was almost 101. AH!

My darling husband went to Wal-Greens and picks up my antibiotics that they had called me in the day earlier because I was kinda icky. It was a nightmare. They called it into the wrong store and after standing in line for 30 minutes and then waiting on them trying to figure out what the deal was - it took him about an hour and a half. I felt horrible! He made me eat (tomato soup and a grilled cheese), but I could barely even sit up in bed. I ate (almost all of it), took the meds and tried to sleep. Because my back hurt SO bad, I had a reallllllly hard time getting comfortable. I tossed and turned, cried from the pain, moaned, slept a minute, tossed some more. Ugh.

I ended up falling asleep at some point I think (don't remember much) and woke up around 2am in AGONY! I couldn't get comfortable. The Tylenol had worn off at this point and I was dying. It hurt to sit on the toilet seat...everything hurt! Luckily, my amazing husband got up with me, took my temperature (still around 101), undressed me, fixed my leaky Gatorade bottle, gave me meds and talked to me while i tossed and turned trying to fall back asleep. It worked at some point. I remember waking up briefly around 5am or so DRENCHED in sweat, but I quickly fell RIGHT back to sleep. I woke back up at 7am when the husbands alarm went off and felt a tad better. My fever had broke too which was a huge help. I still felt like crud though, so I took the day off and SLEPT almost ALL day.

I decided to go back to work after my doctors appointment the next day, because I had SO much to do. The doctor said I had a lot of blood in my urine and I likely had a kidney infection. Well that makes sense!!! OMG! I never want another one of those EVER again. Work sucked because I was still in some pain, but I made it through. Thank God for Tylenol!

THEN that weekend I started to feel like poop, like I was catching a cold or something. Great. It wasn't too bad though and I think it was allergies, but MAN - that sucked! We went over to our neighbors house for an Easter BBQ which was really nice. I was a little icky feeling, but it was still a really nice time. Mark and Clara are really nice people - love them both to pieces! Their family is so sweet and welcoming. It was nice because we really missed our family back home, so going over there (they live right across the street) made it better.

I need to take a new picture. I AM HUGE!!!!!!
